So now that we have locked everything in, I am going to try and do a little "room by room" of our colours and upgrades.  It might be a little repetitve in the short term, but I'm trying to make the whole blog make a little more sense, so please bear with me for now :)

The oven and diswasher come as part of our "Gourmet Kitchen Pack".  The oven is an upgrade from an Omega oven.  With the promo comes the FD9085FX, which is 3 standard burners, a wok burner and a fish burner.  However, we don't eat fish and would much prefer to have an extra standard burner, so we changed it to the FD9085WX with 4 standard burners and a wok burner for no charge.  Standard is no dishwasher.  The rangehood we have upgraded as it was not included in the pack (the standard was a much less attractive Omega).  We have added a kickplate to the oven as well.



We do not need a dishwasher, as we have one that we love currently in 'active storage' with a family member.  We were using it freestanding in our old house, which is why we were able to move it.  However because it was part of a pack it has no value in the context of our contract, so to take it out would have made no difference to our bottom line.  We will have the dishwasher delievered but not installed, and we will see if we are able to sell this one.

The sink is the standard Blanco 1 and a half bowl stainless steel sink.  Included in the Gourmet Kitchen pack is the very industrial looking Brewers Italia flexible sink mixer tap with vegie sprayer.

The kitchen will have 3 LED downlights in the roof, as well as 4 'under cabinet' downlights above the bench/cooktop.  We will also have 3 batten lights for feature pendants above the island bench.  The roof downlights and the battens will be switched together, and double switched so they can be turned on at either end of the kitchen.  The under cabinet lights will be on their own switch at the end of the bench.  There will be a single batten light in the pantry.

We have added one double power point to the pantry for a total of two doubles, as well as adding a double powerpoint at the end of the bench for one at each end.  We have also added a double power point to the end of the island bench.  There are additional power points in the fridge space and the dishwasher space.

Doors

The only door in the kitchen is the pantry door, which will be a Corintian flush panel cavity slider, 2340x820mm in white.
